Program
4:00 PM: Gathering begins
- Elders Hosted in the Creevillage (indoor) shapatuan by Payukotayno, with drinks, snacks and food served there
- Winter Games throughout the evening (sliding contest, skating and snowshoe races, etc.) on ice hosted by the John R. Delaney Youth Centre, Moose Cree Community Activators and MoCreebec staff
- Outdoor shapatuan open for warming up by a fire, tea, bannock, etc.
- Information booth (MoCreebec Healthy Babies/Healthy Children Centre)
- More than 350 calendars, mugs, and clothing for sale (MoCreebec Healthy Babies/Healthy Children Centre)
- Chili, bannock and “Indian boudin” + snacks and drinks provided (MoCreebec Healthy Babies/Healthy Children Centre and both shapatuans)
- Washrooms available (MoCreebec Healthy Babies/Healthy Children Centre)
5:00: Opening Prayer and Welcome
- Dinner served first to Elders at indoor shapatuan
- Dinner (take-out) served for all participants at MoCreebec Healthy Babies/Healthy Children Centre
6:30: Formal Opening begins
- Arrival of torch by snowshoe carrier
- Songs performed by the MPS Choir
- Lighting of bonfire
- Formal Welcome by Jurisdictional Leaders: Moose Cree First Nation, MoCreebec and Moosonee
- Opening Ceremony Video

8:00: End of Livestream
- All activities end by 9:00 pm
